Thankful Thursday…on Friday

Today I am thankful for my full-time job. I get to be a stay-at-home wife and mommy. I am also thankful for Ben, who works hard to make sure I get stay home. Yesterday, Elaine brought me her coat out of the closet. She was playing with her dolly stroller and purse. She was content to wear her hat and coat and walk around the house pushing her stroller. I decided to finish the holiday baking later. I put Elaine’s shoes on, and we headed outside. She has never taken her dolly stroller outside, and she thought it was great fun. Mommy (that’s me!) thought she was really cute. I’m so thankful that I get to be with her through these fun moments and learning times. I wouldn’t want to miss it for anything! And by the way, she didn’t want me to take her jacket off when we came inside. She wore it for her afternoon nap!
