A City Life For Me

I recently stumbled on a blog of photographers sharing pictures which showed that “kids were here.”  They have a new post each month.  Though I’m not a part of it, I thought it was a fun photo prompt!  I’ve tried to see the “kid-ness” in messes and situations that would otherwise frustrate me at times.  So here’s my first picture… see if you can guess which kid was here!

Nolan was nice enough to model a new cloth diaper for my diaper blog.  He also just started sitting up.  I thought some of you might like these pictures too.  The Albert diaper by bumGenius in honor of Albert Einstein I guess I should have combed his hair.  Oh well.  Now he REALLY looks like Grandpa Godby now!  (JJJKJT, Dad). Elaine saw the camera and the backdrop, and started saying, “Ewaine.  Pitchers.  Fwirst.”  So…she wanted me to take her picture too.  She donned a new outfit (from Erin Neiner) and gave me a few smiles!

I blogged here about the sad demise of my camera.  It was my first digital camera, a gift from Mom & Dad for my mission’s internship in college.  It has been to Spain, Israel, and countless other locations with me!  I was able to get a replacement camera yesterday.  I’m still learning the camera, but here are a few shots of Elaine at a church work-night.  Yes – she did that herself! Okay…I guess that wasn’t very wordless.  That’s okay.  It’s my blog!  Grandma, are you happy now?  Was that enough of an “Elaine-fix” for a couple of days? Happy Weekend everyone!
