On Monday we again loaded onto a subway, this time headed for the Brooklyn Bridge. We walked across the Bridge, then enjoyed some lunch & shopping at Pier 17 on the Manhattan side. Then we stopped at the fountain in City Hall Park. We had enjoyed a leisurely morning including sleeping in (even Elaine!), bagels for breakfast, and a start around noon. Since the Hamiltons didn’t want to get home too late, we cut our activities down a little bit and returned home. We had a great weekend, and Elaine enjoyed her grandparents & Auntie Meredith!

Just the girls – me, Elaine, Mere, & Mom. We were in front of a fountain, but Ben didn’t understand that we wanted to see the fountain in the picture!
