City Girl Rides a Horse

When we came home from church last night we were unable to drive up our block.  5th Avenue in Bay Ridge was closed for a street fair.  Ben was frustrated because we had a lot of stuff to unload.  I was excited because these events are always on Sunday, and usually finished by the time we arrive home from church.  Elaine and I grabbed the stroller and headed out to investigate.  We discovered that the police were asking the vendors to start closing up, but we managed to get in on one ride…a horse ride to be specific!

Elaine chose the white horse.  I was sure she would pick the little pony, but she wanted the big one!

She was so excited…and so happy…and neither one of us could stop smiling!
