Thing 1 and Thing 2

I was browsing Pinterest and Etsy when I came upon the “Thing 1 and Thing 2” idea for twins.  I knew that I wanted to have hats like that for the twins’ newborn pictures.  Do you know how hard it is to get twins to both be still at the same time for a nice picture?  If you read my last post, you know that Nehemiah seems to always be alert & awake (though always very calm).  So here are my twins…Thing 1 is the sleepy thing and Thing 2 is the wide awake thing!

I also saw a lot of ideas for twin shirts.  I love the ketchup on one twin and french fries on the other twin!  I made these “Buy One” and “Get One Free” shirts for the twins to wear home from the hospital.  Liberty was losing patience at this point, and she also didn’t want to move her hands so that you could read her shirt.

   

And this is where the cooperation ended and we called it a day…
