I wish you could have seen it…

Yesterday Elaine turned 11 months.  Usually, while I am preparing supper Ben sets the table.  Tonight was different.  Ben looked at Elaine and said, “Baby Girl, you’re 11 months old now.  It’s time you help out around here.”

And so it was the Elaine helped Daddy set the table.  First the forks.  Then a cup.  Then the plates.  Then the buns.  One item at a time…one trek down the long hallway at a time…her free hand always safe in Daddy’s grip. 

I had a hard time getting  a picture, but it was really cute to watch.  Elaine is walking (or at least trying) more than crawling these days, and she was so cute last night.  I wish you could have seen it…
