Just Doin’ Some Computer Work
Caught the twins playing with this toy computer. Their expressions and motions cracked me up – just like me & Ben trying to do something together on the computer! {I don’t always share very well, and Ben doesn’t always understand what I’m trying to do…}
L: “I’m getting an error message. I don’t know how to fix it.”
N: “Huh? I don’t know. Did you try that button over there?”
L: ”I’m working on it. Don’t interrupt!”
N: “Let me try. Just do this.”
L: “You can try, but it’s not going to work.”
L: “See, I told you. It’s still not working. Let me just check this over here…”
L: “Sometimes I just hate these machines.”
L: “Finally! Got it working again!”
N: “I told you that would work. You don’t ever listen to me!”
Oh yeah, been there and done that! We both get frustrated with these things, and sometimes we do exactly the play you did with your kids. Very funny! Mr. K. says he's glad there are bars on the windows, or the computers would be GONE! :o) Loved seeing your twins, too. How fun!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds similar to the conversation kenny and I have at the computer except he usually moves me out of the way to fix it instead of just telling me what to do... not bitter I promise!
