Bronx Kiddos
Today we took a little trip up to the Bronx to look things over again and snap a few pictures for our video presentation. I took a couple pics of the kids at the park. The progression just cracked me up – this is what it takes to get four kids to all look at you at the same time!
I was a little nervous to start with – I was putting my two babies on a park bench, over a concrete sidewalk, to sit with their siblings who are only 2 and 4. And I was the only adult available to catch them in case of catastrophe – Ben was getting the van. And I was behind the camera, trying to take a picture. But we survived without the feared catastrophe!
“Nolan, stop playing with the paci!”
“Elaine, I’ll make Libs smile. You look at Mommy!”
“Nolan! Let go of the paci!”
{I remove the pacifier"}
{I reposition both babies, who looked quite uncomfortable}
{I wait for the dog to walk by – only Nehemiah thought I was interesting enough to watch!}
“Nolan, you’re choking Nehemiah!”
{okay, good enough! Liberty doesn’t smile on command anyway}
{but she does love her sister!"}
Elaine picked her shirt out at the store because “Liverty has one with this kind of doggy too, and then I can match her.” How could I say no?
{Best looking boys…except for their daddy!"}
{my girls}
And maybe this will be our neighborhood park, sometime in the not-so-distant future!
Way, way too cute. Love the running commentary and the attempts at getting the great pictures you finally got! We used to shoot a whole roll of film for ONE halfway human-looking family picture. And, we only had two children! Proud of you! :o)
ReplyDeleteI love your description under each photo! It makes me laugh each time I read it...I can just hear you saying those things!
