The Rest of Florida

I never got a chance to finish blogging about our trip to Florida, because life just got away with me!  Traveling every weekend means catch-up each week.  It’s lots of late nights and early mornings, and I haven’t been able to think clearly enough to get this caught up!  So, here is the rest of Florida in one shot…

I was so excited to get to spend an evening with my best friend Danielle and her family.  And though it doesn’t show much in this picture, Danielle is expecting their first baby – a boy!

:: Family

My Grams was along on this trip.  She let Elaine and Nolan sleep in her hotel room.  They obviously loved it!

Grams made a special presentation to my Dad while we were all together.  She gave him a picture album with his childhood pictures in it.  It was a project she had wanted to start with my Gramps, but he passed away in 2010 before they got to it.  Since then she has put together four of these albums, dividing the pictures between her four children.  It was a special evening!

:: Let’s Go Fly A Kite!

That Grandma – she’s a smart one!  She brought along a kite, and we had a lovely windy day.  The kids enoyed the kite, the babies enjoyed the grass, and I enjoyed the sun!

Grandpa had fun with Liberty.  He loves baby girls!  She earned the nickname “Red” on this trip!

There was a kids water area with a Pirate Ship water park.  Elaine and Nolan had a blast there!
