“Where liberty dwells, there is my country…”

It has been three years since I have been to the Statue of Liberty.  We were not able to secure tickets to visit the pedestal or the crown, but we still had fun.  It was the first time for Danielle, Evan, and of course, Elaine to visit Liberty Island.

We were glad that Ben had the foresight to reserve ferry tickets, because the line was a snake that seemed longer than the two hours which they were announcing!
